Ninth annual ‘Taste of The 24’ showcases Central Florida cuisine and raises funds for The NASCAR Foundation’s programs for children

Addition of Latitude Margaritaville, Minto Communities and Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. as presenting sponsor brings island vibe to event.

With the 56th Rolex 24 At Daytona sports car endurance classic providing an international, high-profile setting, more than 2,000 guests enjoyed the best of Central Florida dining, live entertainment and more at The NASCAR Foundation’s ninth annual Taste of the 24 Presented by Latitude Margaritaville, Minto Communities and Consolidated-Tomoka to benefit the foundation’s programs for children.

The Midway Suites at Daytona International Speedway – the world’s only motorsports stadium – once again welcomed guests to enjoy both the extensive culinary options and the season-opening race for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

“We are so appreciative of the support shown from the local community for Taste of the 24,” The NASCAR Foundation Executive Director Nichole Krieger said. “Each and every year, these restaurants continue to outdo themselves with such incredible food offerings. We want to thank all of our restaurants and sponsors for their participation – especially by Latitude Margaritaville, Minto Communities and Consolidated-Tomoka as this year’s presenting sponsor.”

Annually, the Taste of the 24 presents awards for various dishes prepared by participating restaurants. This year’s award winners:

  • Best Appetizer: Chart House
  • Best Entrée: 31 Supper Club
  • Best Dessert: Ben & Jerry’s
