On Friday, November 9th, The NASCAR Foundation, along with mascot Safety Sam, helped Oklahoma Joe’s Barbeque at ONE DAYTONA celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting, delicious food, and a donation to the Foundation.
Before officially opening the doors, CEO and Co-Founder Joe Davidson, his wife Page, along with Oklahoma Joe’s ONE DAYTONA Operating Partner Matt Hollar presented The NASCAR Foundation with a $5,000 donation.
The donation represented proceeds from the grand opening celebration as well as a match of the funds raised by the Oklahoma Joe’s Barbeque team to send their bar manager Vanessa McQuiggan 102 feet over the International Motorsports Center during The NASCAR Foundation’s Over the Edge at ONE DAYTONA fundraiser.
Oklahoma Joe’s Barbeque joins a long list of other establishments at ONE DAYTONA who have contributed in support of The NASCAR Foundation’s programs for children. In 2019, Oklahoma Joe’s will join MidiCi Italian Kitchen and Jeremiah’s as restaurants at our annual Taste of the 24 dining event.
Tulsa-based Oklahoma Joe’s is an award-winning BBQ restaurant brand with roots in the barbecue industry going back more than thirty years and founded by legendary pitmaster Joe Davidson, winner of more than 300 championship BBQ titles worldwide.
