Even though circumstances aren’t normal right now, The NASCAR Foundation is still dedicated to providing Speedy Bears to kids in hospitals across the country.
The NASCAR Foundation’s 4th Annual Speedy Bear Brigade will take place on September 9th, 2020 – on National Teddy Bear Day! Volunteers, employees, and drivers from the NASCAR family are coming together to deliver 900 of the Foundation’s Speedy Bears to over 40 hospital locations from coast-to-coast.
Beginning in 2017 with just 15 participating locations, the Speedy Bear Brigade has now expanded to reach 80 total hospitals. At the conclusion of this year’s campaign, The NASCAR Foundation will have delivered a total of 3,970 bears to sick children from this initiative.
This event is made possible through joint efforts between tracks, hospitals, and offices across the United States.
