16 Daytona Beach Area Restaurants Confirmed
Tickets are now on sale for The NASCAR Foundation’s 12th Annual ‘Taste of the 24’ at Daytona International Speedway. The exclusive food and beverage celebration, on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021 during the 59th Rolex 24 At DAYTONA sports car endurance classic, is one of the premier kick-off activities of the 2021 motorsports season.
“We are excited to continue the tradition of the Taste of the 24 alongside the prestigious Rolex 24 At DAYTONA,” said Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile. “This event is a must-do for many fans here to enjoy North America’s greatest sports car race.”
Guests will once again be treated to an unrivalled dining experience featuring local restaurant fare in the Midway Suites of the “World Center of Racing.” Beginning at 6 p.m., attendees will sample menu items from area restaurants amid the backdrop of the season-opening race for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Proceeds benefit The NASCAR Foundation’s programs dedicated to providing medical care and wellness programs for children.
Participating restaurants so far include 4 Rivers BBQ, Backyard Boys BBQ & Catering, Ben & Jerry’s, Dahlia Mexican Kitchen, Dave and Busters, Duck Donuts, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Kale Café, La Shawarma, P.F. Chang’s, Pictona, Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, Sloppy Joes, Texas Roadhouse (Palm Coast), Tiano’s and Tijuana Flats. Additional restaurants will be added as the date draws near.
“The Taste of the 24 is one of The NASCAR Foundation’s signature events, thanks to the incredible support of Daytona International Speedway and Daytona Beach area restaurants,” said The NASCAR Foundation Executive Director Nichole Krieger. “We all need something to look forward to in 2021 and tickets to this event make a great gift idea as we celebrate the holidays.”
An all-inclusive ticket at $110 includes an opportunity to taste delicacies from the area’s finest restaurants, enjoy live entertainment, a weekend pass to the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA with UNOH Fanzone access and a chance to win a Rolex watch. VIP tickets are $160 with a limited quantity available and children ages 12-and-under are just $24.
Taste of the 24 will be held in accordance with enhanced health protocols and procedures to provide a safe environment for guests, employees and the local community.
